Tree Protection Initiative - Tuesday, April 15 at 6:00 pm. at 1304 Garden Street, the Council is working on a plan to protect trees and keep our neighborhood cool and green.  If you would like to help, please join us on for this meeting and a short neighborhood walk.  We'll need lots of neighbors to help us do a tree survey, which is the first step in planning for protection of our urban forest.

We're Losing our El Jardin Alegre Land -  Strategy meetings take place every 3rd Thursday at 6:00 pm at Mr. Natural, 1901 East Cesar Chavez. Our El Jardin Alegre Community Garden land is being sold!  We want to keep this important resource in our neighborhood, and are exploring ways we can keep El Jardin alive and growing.  Got land?

If you have questions about any of these projects, call Kathy at 478-9478.
