"Ten Reasons To Advertise On La Nueva"

                                        History of La Nueva

KIKY-FM and KNEZ-AM formally began simulcast broadcasting in Spanish on both stations on
February 2, 1998.  On September 15, 1998 the station call letters were changed to KQQQ-FM and
KQQA-AM.

La Nueva's popular  format is a unique blend of Tejano hits, Norteno, Groupo and International
music.  The bilingual, doubly talented announcers speak in, "Spanglish",  a mixture of Spanish and
English phrases. (Spanglish is a normal means of communication for many Southwest of North America
natives).  La Nueva also plays more of the classic Tejano hits of the last three years.

La Nueva President Buddy McGregor states, "We feel that the power of our 10,000 watt AM signal
at KQQA-AM @1530 and the upgraded KQQQ-FM signal @ 92.1 was a major factor in delivering
our bilingual programming to the many areas of the Austin metroplex formerly served by  the Spanish
music programming of KXTN, a San Antonio based radio station.  McGregor said, "When we first
started, KXTN actually showed up on the Austin Arbitron Ratings.  We took a deliberate aim  at those listeners as our primary target audience.    Our quality programming  quickly converted them to our
new format.

La Nueva is proud to announce that due to the tremendous support of our listeners,
La Nueva was placed at the # 1 position for Spanish language stations during the Spring Arbitron
